Igor Kolb

Awarded as Honorary Artist of Russia, Premier of the Mariinsky Theater, prize of the Vaganova-Prix international ballet competition.
Igor Kolb was born in the city of Pinsk (Belarus) on June 6, 1977. He Graduated from the Belarusian State Choreographic School in 1996 in the class of A.I. Kolyadenko, after which he was accepted into the ranks of the Mariinsky Theater, and in 1998 he already became a soloist.
His stage companions were outstanding dancers - Ulyana Lopatkina, Diana Vishneva, Ekaterina Kondaurova, Alexandra Iosifidi, Kristina Shapran and others.
In 2002 the artist made his debut on the stage of the Rome Opera in the part of Prince Desiree in the ballet Sleeping Beauty - the choreographic editors of Rudolf Nureyev, in 2006 he made his debut on the stage of the Vienna Opera in the part of Prince Siegfried in the Swan Lake ballet. In 2007 he took part in the Silence project. Diana Vishneva “- Andrei Mighty and Alexei Kononov. Igor Kolb collaborates with the main opera and ballet theaters and is applauded by the enthusiastic audience from America, Japan, Europe and, of course, Russia. In addition to theatrical activities, Igor Kolb teaches at the Boris Eifman Ballet Academy, collaborates with famous modern choreographers and is engaged in the production itself.
