Massimo Carpegna

After his musical studies at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory (Turin) and obtained the Diploma in Choral Music and Choral Conducting at the Antonio Vivaldi Conservatory (Alessandria), he specialized in Conducting with Maestro Franco Ferrara at the Chigiana Music Academy ( Siena), the Ottorino Respighi Music Academy (Rome) and the Verona Arena. Among his numerous positions he has held that of Consultant of the National Research Council for the establishment of a computerized archive on the data of European opera production, of Music Director of the US company Sounds of Hope Ltd based in Saint Paul (Minnesota, USA), Permanent Director of the Chamber Orchestra of the Civic Theater (Vercelli), Vice-director and head of the psychomusical research laboratory IRP-AIAC (European Institute for Psychomusical Research Rehabilitation and Rehabilitation of the Aosta International Art Center Association).
The educational commitment is significant. In the 1983/84 academic year he was an annual teacher of Orchestral Practice and Chamber Music at the F.E. From the Abacus of Verona and from the academic year 1984/1985 to today he is professor of Choral Training, Choir Direction and leader professor of the master in Music and Cinema at the Vecchi Tonelli Higher Institute of Musical Studies in Modena and Carpi. He was also Lecturer in Industrial Film and Cinematography (Cinematics 1), Music Video Production Laboratory (Cinematics 2), Elements of Audio Video Editing at the Faculty of Communication Sciences and Economics of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and Director of the first level University Master in Film Sound. For the SPEL company in Modena, a Macintosh dealer, he carried out numerous professional courses on the Apple platform for audio / video editing, with extensions on film and television direction.
