A few words about our respected jury member:
Carlos Sances
He began to study double bass at the age of 13 at the National Institute of Music of Costa Rica with Professor Rodrigo Aragon. In 2011, he trained at the Interlochen Arts Academy (Michigan, USA). Winner of a special prize at the V international competition of double bassists named after Sergey Kusevitsky. Since 2018, he has been an artist of the Mariinsky Bolshoi Symphony Orchestra.
