The International Competition-Festival of Arts “Catalunya Break” invites creative teams and individual participants to spend their holidays in Spain, taking part in a competition that uses a qualifying, rather than competitive, evaluation principle. Read more...
The panel of judges, consisting of world-famous figures of culture and art, is called upon to express their professional opinion in the field of choreography, vocals, instrumental art, circus, theatrical genre, fine arts and arts and crafts and photography. All participants will be awarded European-style diplomas, and among the best participants a single award will be chosen - the Grand Prix.

Taking a break from everyday life and plunging into the atmosphere of Spain, by taking part in the Competition - Festival "Catalunya Break", you will be able to make new acquaintances with participants from other countries, replenish your cultural baggage, exchange experiences, understand new directions in your genre thanks to close work with the jury members .

3. All events of the Festival-Competition

It is possible to organize individual and group master classes with an Italian Maestro with the issuance of personal certificates signed by the Maestro.
Master classes are possible on: choreography, vocal and voice production, instrumental creativity.

Concerts

As part of the event, a Gala Concert of the best participants and an awards ceremony for participants on the stage take place:
Among all participants and groups, regardless of the score, the organizers of the competition will choose the brightest numbers to perform at the final concert of the competition (the choice of performances does not depend on the panel of judges, on the score, but only on the colorfulness of the number). All other participants attend the concert as spectators and go up to the stage for the awards ceremony. Participants selected to perform at the concert will be notified the evening before by telephone.

4. Jury evaluation system, awards, sponsors

The competitive part has a qualification, and not a competitive principle of evaluation. Each participant receives a diploma indicating the degree taken based on the average score.
All participants will be judged based on their age and creative category. Evaluated: performance technique, complexity of the selected work, individual approach to the interpretation of the work, manner of performance and personal style.
For each creative category, the jury members evaluate on a 100 point system (the average score of each performance of all jury members is calculated).
*In the case of several performances in the same category, the work that received the highest rating is selected for summing up.

The jury members are chosen by the organizers each time depending on the Maestro's employment and on the applications received from the participants. The exact composition of the jury will be communicated to the participants in advance. Depending on the score received, all participants will be awarded the following degrees and prizes:
100 points - GRAN PRIZE / diploma, commemorative badge, Free participation in the International Festival-Competition "Break" in Spain or France next year.
99-90 points - Laureate of the 1st degree / diploma, commemorative badge
89-80 points – II degree laureate / diploma
79-70 points - Laureate of the III degree / diploma
less than 70 points - Participant / diploma
Regardless of the creative category, the jury will select the best participant/team, which will be awarded the GRAN PRIX award.
*The organizers are in no way related to the work of the jury members and cannot influence their decision. The decision of the panel of judges is not subject to discussion. The results of the evaluations received will be published on the website www.festivalcontest.net in the “reports” section at the end of the competition.
*Among all participants and teams, regardless of the score, the organizers of the competition will choose the brightest numbers to perform at the final concert of the competition (the choice of performances does not depend on the panel of judges, on the score, but only on the colorfulness of the number)
*The competitive part of the Festival will be held behind closed doors, in the form of entrance exams. During the competitive viewing, accompanying persons, teachers and parents who have registered at the entrance to the theater are allowed into the hall only if absolute silence is observed. In case of violation of this clause, the organizers reserve the right to ask all those present to vacate the hall.
*In case of a large number of accepted applications, participation on the main stage is guaranteed only for the first 100 registered participants, all the rest will be viewed in an additional hall.
*In case of a large number of applications for participation, the Festival-Contest will be held for 2 days.

ATTENTION!
It is possible to choose an upgraded hotel or extend the stay in Spain at the request of the participants. For more information, please contact our managers.
The exact name of the hotel where the participants will be accommodated will be communicated 7 days before the date of arrival. The organizers reserve the right to change the hotel at their own discretion, not below the specified category.
Participants with non-standard (for Europe) food requests (allergies, halal, kosher, etc.) must request the cost of food additionally.
Children under 3 years old (accommodation in bed with mother, meals with mother) are served and accommodated free of charge.
The organizers do not bear responsibility, neither economic nor moral, in case of refusal by the embassy to obtain visas to enter Spain for participants. The deadline for payment is 21 days before the start of the Festival-Competition.
The organizer provides the following documents for issuing visas when purchasing a package with accommodation: a hotel reservation for the period ordered (only after paying for the package), confirmation - an invitation to the festival (only after paying for the package).

The participant / team undertakes to pay the fee for participation in the Festival-Competition no later than 25 days before the start of the festival by sending a copy of the payment order to the address info@festivalcontest.net. Applications that are not confirmed by payment will be automatically canceled by the organizers.

Trip Cancellation Penalties:
In case of cancellation of the trip by the participants, the amounts already paid are subject to the following fines:
– Cancellation within 20 days – penalty 25% of the total amount paid
– Cancellation within 15 days – penalty 50% of the total amount paid
– cancellation 10 days in advance – penalty 75% of the total amount paid
– cancellation in 7 days or less – penalty 100%

The organizers invite you to visit the following excursions:
Excursion to Barcelona - the most amazing city in Europe, you can get acquainted with the most interesting sights of the capital of Catalonia: Montjuic, Eixample quarters, Paseo de Gracia, Olympic Port, Plaza de España, Arc de Triomphe, Sagrada Familia, Gothic Quarter.
Tours are organized with a minimum of 25 people.
Excursion to the House-Museum of Salvador Dali and Gerona is a city founded by the Romans, many legends and stories are told about it, which the guide will acquaint you with, as well as give you the opportunity to enjoy the beauties of the historical center of the city, the walls of which were built back in the IX century. And how can you not visit the Salvador Dali Museum, which is located nearby in Figueres. Dali worked for 14 years to build a monument to himself and it turned out to be something phenomenal that everyone should see!
Tours are organized with a minimum of 25 people.
A trip to the Knights Tournament and Flamenco Show - you will witness a real knights tournament, at the entrance you will be personally greeted by the King and Queen with guards, and at the performance you will be entertained by knights in armor, jesters, kings and well-trained horses.
